Zazie is the child of a german cabinet maker in Berlin, Germany in 1991. Her father, an German cabinetmaker, who came into the United States after the Fall of the Berlin Wall in 1990, is also her mother, a South African American social worker. Jennifer Aniston attended the same high school as Beetz. Beetz, who graduated from LaGuardia in 2007 attended Skidmore College and studied French. When she graduated from the college Beetz was able to immediately begin auditioning for roles and was eventually offered as Van in Atlanta. Beetz was born in Berlin of an ethnically mixed German father, and an African American Mother. Her family was both in New York. Zazie has performed in theaters within the community as well as on stage in New York since her childhood. Zazie discovered that she enjoyed acting while at the school. Zendaya achieved an Disney Channel breakout role thanks her amazing dance skills. The year 2010 was the year that the actress and dancer finally scored her first major role in the form of Bella Thorne cast her as Rocky Blue. Zendaya, then 11, went vegetarian after seeing the slaughterhouse on a trip with her dad. PEOPLE reports that she said, "It was horrible to witness all the animals awaiting slaughter in that slaughterhouse." This was not how I would eat my food! Since that time she's been following a strict diet based on plants.
